it’s becoming harder and harder to be first now, Eddie! looks like t_d commented within a few minutes of the strip being up this time.
and agreed: the Cornfather should be way more appreciative of cel’s intentions even if the rescue was a little unnecessary by the time she arrived.
Well, they wanted a rescue, they should have stayed there trapped and it would be a great rescue, but no, they had to (successfully) try to rescue them selves and than her help was unappreciated.
If you call for help, dont get mad when it arrives.

I had to shoulder my way back into my apartment once. Only because it was the dead of winter, and I was coming back late from an exes place. I wasn’t about to take another 45 minute drive over there to fetch my keys, so I just *ahem* used some muscle to get back in. (I would think kicking a door down would do more damage than using your shoulder anyway.

Wu-Tang Clan and Jaclyn Chan, eh? Those had me laughing out loud! As well as CF’s trademark “AIIIEeeeEEEE!” scream/yell. (Something I can hear in my head, because my boyfriend does that sometimes, as well as this commercial http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HjiKv4A-7OY )

Well, when you’re asked by an older woman if you played football back in the day..that kinda gives it away that I have some pretty wide shoulders. Plus being a shorter and chubbier girl, makes for better leverage.
PS: Excited for the new merch in the BOTshop soon! (I need to work on getting myself a t-shirt!) Cannot wait to see what you have cookin’!

Cel is dangerous. I like it.
No offence but lately it drawned on me how strange hands you draw are. I dont know if they are part of your signature style but they kinda… Dont fit with the bodies. Like CF has Cels hands in last panel and Jefbots index finger will fall off in second panel.

cel’s definitely a little dangerous – and destructive, Maryz. the Cornfather better be careful about who he yells at.
yeah, that’s just how i draw hands. i try pushing myself to draw them at different angles to get the characters to “act” better (from behind and palms-up, respectively, on the ones you mentioned). hopefully this will translate to better future gestures!

Hysterical, not! There is so much going on in this strip, I can’t believe you did it all in one night. I love how colorful it is. And Cel is one bad-a$$ chick, man. And I like how realistic this story line is. I mean, everything in these last few strips could’ve happened: getting trapped in your room full of stuff to Cel breaking BOTH doors in. And of course, The Cornfather would NOT be happy with Jaclyn Chan breaking up his home. Great job all around, bot. You are the master!!

Si mi corazon…those are my red devil horns. I also have gold ones that are antiqued with black. They are especially fun when I wear them with my bunny ears for easter. It throws everyone off. And I run around refering to myself as a “Symbol of Fertility.” It’s amazing how fast people will get out of the way!
