Guest Strip_Kyubikitsy & Kimonostereo of nemu*nemu
My mind has seriously been blown away by all the amazing guest strips I’ve gotten so far, and this one, from Audra Furuichi (Kyubikitsy) and Scott Yoshinaga (Kimonostereo) over at nemu*nemu is no exception.
When I asked Audra and Scott for a guest strip I knew they’d knock it out of the park and oh man, did they. I was secretly hoping Audra would put her prodigious skills to drawing Musashi and Abraxas, so when this strip came in I seriously did a Kung Fu kick in the air. So awesome.

I love nemu*nemu and jefbot in their style is absolutely beautiful. And its jefbots fault for teaching Abraxas eat electronics.
I do have a problem with this however. Abraxas and Musashi dont talk. Chomp <3 was absolutely sufficient and it fits into Jefbot universe. Talking animals do not. They arent Anpan and Nemu…
Still, I like this piece wery much.
no worries, Maryz – these guest strips aren’t JEFbot canon, so the cartoonists have (mostly) carte blanche to do whatever they want! the culinary robot, breaking of the fourth wall and talking pets are like JEFbot in an alternate universe and I think that’s what makes these guest strips so interesting. So just sit back, do a Kung Fu kick in the air and enjoy!
Looooooove Audra and Scotts take on the whole JB world. It’s funny, because sometimes my cat will try and nom on my cables and cords. I dunno what it is about them, but it’s like catnip to her at times. Love the 3rd panel, especially the background! Mu and Abraxas are completely adorable in this one, and I love that word “delish”. So yeah, all in all.. love the strip! Oh, and I would love to see this Kung Fu kick you speak of Mr. Jeff.

That is freaking AWESOME! I love the look of all the characters and the 3rd panel just says it all.

What an awesome strip. They got the dialog and characters down. This is a great guest strip.
I can’t even try and re-type the names of this amazing guest strip so I’ll just call you K and K. I LOVE this strip, K and K! The dialogue, shading, and colors are super cool. Great job, K and K!
