JEFBOT.133_Creep
In case you’re interested, here’s a picture of my mounted tailless whip scorpion. An entomologist friend of mine gave it to me years ago when I was seriously into the science fiction series, Babylon 5, and he thought these creatures looked like the Shadow attack cruisers, which they kinda do. And yes, it’s hanging in my kitchen.

Ok, Dude.. I need to go bathe now. There is nothing more in the world that I fear, and hate at the same time. (Arachnids) Plus I double shivered when I saw the last panel. Love how Cornfather’s cup is smiling and then it’s frowning. Another great one!

Hahahahaha!!! This is so funny and yet so creepy. I hated that tailless whip scorpion at first and now it definitely has a home on the kitchen wall. Please note bot fans, that the scorpion is STILL hanging in the kitchen. Bot, you really did a great job with this one. I love the expressions and every time I see that spider on the Cornfather’s back, I get the shivers. Great work as usual!

Sweet lion of Zion! I hope I never encounter a spider of that size that up close and personal. If I ever made a truce or alliance with a bug race it wouldn’t be one that could possibly eat me if things got hairy.

ooh, now i have an image of a huge zerg rush of tarantulas coming at me! hope i don’t take that image with me to my dreams tonight… so yes, probably best to make an alliance with a cuter species. like ladybugs or butterflies, Foxmouse.

i’ve never had a live tarantula, DaughterJudy, but i’ve always wanted either one of those or an emperor scorpion. those things are awesome! i have a feeling my roommate would not approve either, though.

I’ve never seen the comic before today, but I’ve read it from start to finish partially because of this comic (and the link from Wapsi Squared). I am terrified of spiders, and this comic made me shiver and laugh. You’ve been added to my daily comic cycle! ^_^

I shivered when I first saw this… and I pulled it up at my bf’s place in Chicago and he was not-happy with the spider either….
I’m trying to image the Cornfather’s scream that should be in the next panel, but it keeps coming out as my own! LOL

Haha, read through the whole comic today (followed an ad link, can’t remember where the hell from, though), and I’m definitely gonna keep following it.
As for this strip – I’m kinda like Jefbot there. I pretty much love the creepy-crawly critters, as long as they aren’t dangerous to humans or get into my food (the ants that raided our pantry last week met with swift, merciless death) I’ll let ‘em live with me, and I definitely never kill the spiders.
The rest of my family, on the other hand…well, let’s just say my sister once freaked out and asked me to come take care of a big spider behind a picture frame – a spider which turned out to be the frayed end of the hanging wire. XD
i gotta give you the same props i gave Jennery, EOTD – a big thanks for reading through the archive and adding JEFbot to your webcomics reading list!
and that’s an awesome story about your sister – what i’ve come to learn from this little story arc is that people freak out when it comes to spiders (okay, sometimes justifiably)!

heh. if you could see it, there would probably be absolutely no expression on the Cornfather’s face, JF3. i don’t think any muscles of his are going to move until that tarantula is safely removed. and maybe not for a while after that.
