JEFBOT.131_Bot Be Buggin’
It’s not uncommon for me to help a starving spider out by throwing a few ants or other insects into its web. As long as it’s not a black widow or a brown recluse or something dangerous, I generally let them kick it in my apartment if I find them there. At worst I’ll put them outside in a bush, since there are only a few bugs I’ll kill on sight – but that’s a topic for another strip.

Bot’s face in panel two is my new favorite jefbot facial expression ever! It deserves a trophy or something! Also, love the child-like innocence thing goin’ on in the last panel. Simply wonderous!
Well, when I found the Jerusalem Cricket my cat Samson was trying to eat it. He ran off when it bit him in the face. After much screaming and a few tears I introduced it to the sole of my size 8 steel toe boots.
I try not to kill them now that I know what they are, but it’s still one hell of a shock to encounter one. =A=;;

There’s no way that I would be able to pee, knowing that a spider’s ready to pounce on my booty.
lol i do the same thing. i will not let anyone in the same household as i kill spiders. its hard to keep my cats from eating them but i can at lest try. x3

Glad to find another bug-lover. I share my oatmeal with the beetle larvae that live in my carpet. I make a little pile of it under my computer table, where I don’t vacuum, hoping to lure them there so that they won’t get sucked up. And then I hope that my mom doesn’t notice all the half-eaten oatmeal on the floor when she comes to visit.
I am very much the same way with most spiders, crickets, etc that show up in my house. Crickets get escorted out of the house because they like to jump in the shower with me and get accidentally stepped on if I don’t pay close attention. Spiders get to stay as long as they aren’t black widows, luckily I’ve not seen any brown recluse spiders in my state.
JEFbots face in the second panel: Awwws!
