Is there such a thing as too small when it comes to technology? The first thing I thought of when I saw the new iPod Shuffle was one of my favorite SNL skits where Will Ferrell gets a call on that teeny tiny flip phone. Seriously, how much smaller can Apple make an iPod before it just becomes ridiculous? Would you buy one if it were the size of a dime? A grain of rice? Would you buy an iPhone the size of Will Ferrell’s phone? Yes, I would, too.
The look of stark realization says it all. The gooey center had me laughing out loud. Love the expressions and delivery of the strip! Poor Jefbot, in the last panel.. he needs a hug. *Cyber hugs and a tissue*

Depending on how old the Chiclet is… the crunch of aluminum and stainless steel would be easy to mistake. Nice work.
yes, and who doesn’t love the sharp taste of new technology, eleventeen? if they were smart, Chicklets would team up with Apple and release flavors of gum based on Apple products.

Thanks for the warning about Friday and Tuesday’s strip possibly being late…but that is unacceptable. Millions of people depend on you to start their day with a chuckle! Forgo the St. Paddy’s Day celebrating and get to work! On second thought, celebrate and procure some insiration for more strips. Also, the following will make no sense to you but is directed to Coolhand and Lor: nothing is as witty as a 17-year-old nursing at the dinner table! Woo hoo, I did it!
ha! thanks, Pearl! “millions”? not quite yet, but i’m going to take my drawing tablet with me to the convention this weekend, so I might have those strips up on time after all. also, yes, that last bit makes no sense to me, but i like it!
Just think, if they could get it as small as a rice grain we’re talking music that stays with you for the next 5 hours or so… Depending on how regular you are.

i actually had an idea for an iPhone Shuffle strip, Mikelo! this one took its place, but your idea’s not far off from where i was going with it. might just make an appearance in the future…

As you know, the Will Ferrell sized phone (about the size of a dime or a fingernail) is my dream. I don’t want to feel it in my pocket at all. Some day…some day.

Hysterical! Did they come out with yet another Shuffle already?! I have one that is about the size of two postage stamps side by side (and not much thicker). Did they need to get even smaller than that? I want them to just upload MP3s to my head!

This is so true. The shuffle is even too small. Whatever happened to words? I don’t understand all of the symbols on electronics nowadays.
Gah. So much HATE! (!!!!!) for blasted tiny ass electronics. If it’s smaller than my index finger (3.5 inches by 1 inch) I am very liable to break it on accident. Even stuff that is (gag) as notoriously durable as some of apple’s garbage.
But, again, good over all comics! Keep it up!
