JEFBOT.94_What a Feeling
Apologies to Jennifer Beals and Mark Kelly. And blame my friend Bryan for this one - he wanted to see the Cornfather in leg warmers.

I can’t wait to win the new shirt!
November 14th, 2008 at 7:06 am
knowing you and your freakish luck, i should just set one aside for you so that others can win, K-Bed.
editor’s note: i showed the artwork for the new JEFbot tee, a couple of which will be given away in a contest next week, in today’s email for those on the mailing list. a blog post about it will be up soon.

Cornfather is too precious in his legwarmers - and in purple!
November 14th, 2008 at 7:18 am
thanks, janonymous! do you think kids even know what legwarmers are, these days?
November 14th, 2008 at 7:21 am
First Jennifer then Mark, now JEFFBOT’s Michael! Who’s next I ask?! Is NOONE safe from FLASHDANCErsize?
November 14th, 2008 at 7:33 am
it’s truly scary that it does seem to be making a comeback. no one is safe, especially if the cornfather’s involved.
November 14th, 2008 at 8:34 am
Ha! Very funny, bot! I love the action in this one. It’s very expressive and the Cornfather’s moves look pretty spectacular to me.
I love the colors, too, man. But my favorite has to be the sleeveless look. I may have to try that in real life. Way to go on knocking it out of the ball park again, bot!
November 14th, 2008 at 8:42 am
thanks, dude. i think the sleeveless look, along with the maniac tee and purple legwarmers is something you definitely need to explore.
November 14th, 2008 at 9:06 am
ahhhhh hahahahahahahhahahahaha!!!
November 14th, 2008 at 9:33 am
hrmm. your laugh reminds me of the joker. i think i’m scared.
November 14th, 2008 at 10:48 am
Why does this make me feel like dancing!?!
November 14th, 2008 at 10:49 am
sing it everybody:
you make me feel like dancin’, i’m gonna dance the night away
you make me feel like dancin’, i’m gonna dance the night away
i feel like dancin’, dancin’, dance the night away
i feel like dancin’, dancin’, aah!
November 14th, 2008 at 10:50 am
It’s funny because it’s true (at least in my head). I can’t wait for the new Jefbot shirts, they look fantastic! Put me down for one.
November 14th, 2008 at 10:55 am
thanks dude, i will!
November 14th, 2008 at 10:58 am
I LAUGHED OUT LOUD! It’s so funny. I love the color and the action. Great detail…
Spectacular job Jefbot! I love the look on Mike’s face in the first frame!
November 14th, 2008 at 11:06 am
thanks, funnyshaffer!
November 14th, 2008 at 11:10 am
dancin’ like he’s never danced befooooooore… aahahahah
And I don’t know that I would classify me as ‘wanting’ to see the Cornfather in legwarmers. But I did think it would be hilarious.
The action is great, the timing precise, I love the layout and the little details, like the viewfinder on the camera… all amazing work.
November 14th, 2008 at 12:33 pm
i appreciate you taking the time to look at all the little details, eleventeen. you’re awesome.
and yes, i might have misspoken when i said, “wanted.” i really should’ve used the term, “needed.”
November 14th, 2008 at 12:39 pm
Too funny!!! Wow!!
November 14th, 2008 at 1:33 pm
YOU are “wow,” mary!
November 14th, 2008 at 4:23 pm
Y’know… This got me wondering, exactly how much can you abuse Michael in your comics before he gives you anything less of a fantastic review?
I mean… Flashdancing… The drunk stripping at the wedding fiasco… Reich Gart in the face…. And a rave review each time. You have two options: 1. Thank him for the wonderful friend and reviewer he’s being, or 2… Abusing the heck out of him.
The choice is yours.
Why do I feel like I jus said something that Xinda would usually be the one to say?
November 14th, 2008 at 4:33 pm
or 3) Continue to pay him cold hard cash for all the kind reviews he leaves on the site.
November 14th, 2008 at 5:12 pm
Actually, it doesn’t look much worse than a lot of other exercise clothing that I’ve seen other guys wear. Anyone remember the spandex tights that Manly-Man Jean-Claude Van Damme wore in “Double Impact”? I bet you don’t see those scenes in his audition reel…
November 14th, 2008 at 5:33 pm
true that, reynard61. there are a LOT of dudes at the gym that should be wearing baggier shorts. and don’t get me started on the guy who bikes into work and walks into the office in his full spandex outfit, complete with biker shorts.
November 15th, 2008 at 12:49 pm
That’s it! I am dumping my husband for Cornfather…who needs to see a man in tights when you can get a web-toon in leg warmers! HOT HOT HOT! Hilarious
November 15th, 2008 at 1:33 pm
ha! i’ll pass your message on to the cornfather and get back to ya, kelbel.
November 16th, 2008 at 4:09 pm
TomixComix, Abuse? The Cornfather’s…Inspirational;)
November 16th, 2008 at 4:33 pm
i think so too, lor.
November 16th, 2008 at 10:10 pm
I could almost hear the theme song for Rocky playing in the background, and not to sound redundant, but HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! heh…
November 16th, 2008 at 10:33 pm
yes! that song totally works to the cornfather’s workout, eptha! other songs you can play on your iPod while reading the strip:
• Maniac
• I Need a Hero
• What a Feeling

I hafta mention that I love the purple leg warmers in motion effect. I guess it’s the legs, too. And, the itty bitty shorts. They’re mesmerizing.
December 18th, 2008 at 2:09 am
WAhahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah
Reminded of the time i did that one to friend.
