JEFBOT.56_Not Lovin’ It
I can’t even count the auditions I’ve gone out on that were just completely wrong for me. The Spanish-speaking ones do pop up from time to time (due to me, inexplicably, being mistaken for a Latino), but the funny thing is, I’ve gotten pretty good at faking it!
Special thanks go out to Mary, a smart, lovely actress and friend, who helped me out immensely by doing the Spanish translation for today’s strip. Thanks, Mary!

LOL hilarious! I know it wasn’t funny when it happened, but I still had to laugh, because it was so unbelievably crazy (or stupid)! Love the make-over of your site. Looks great and is easier to navigate.

Hysterical. I had to drop my commercial agent a few years ago because they kept sending me out on Hispanic commercial auditions…more than a few that were in Spanish. I don’t speak Spanish. I’m Italian. Very, very Italian.

Great strip, but the comments are so difficult to understand. Does everyone speak spanish or has this strip prompted everyone to pull out their 10th grade spanish?
