JEFBOT.34_Brain Aging
My mom’s birthday was yesterday, March 4, so I’m commemorating the occasion with a comic strip that details an incident that occurred between her and I, a few month’s back. So the timeline’s a bit different, but other than that, I would consider this a true snapshot of the event in comic form. Really, when I hang out with my family, these strips just write themselves.
Happy Birthday, mom.
Oh, and the “YAWN” lettering is very much inspired by the lettering in Dave Sim’s Cerebus comic. I hope to do more hand-lettered stuff in the future, but for now it’ll be 99.9% digital lettering cuz it’s faster and easier.

Yet again, stellar work, JEFbot! Great dialogue, shapes, and colors. You capture your mom brilliantly. The set up is fantastic as well as the punch line. KUDOS all around, man. Wednesdays are the best.

Loved the strip! I had every intention of starting the Brain thing , but, wouldn’t you know it, the DS needed to be charged again. Today, for sure.
