JEFBOT.14_Bye Bye TiVo
I inadvertently disconnected my mom’s TiVo from the phone line when I was setting up her computer a few weeks ago, and couldn’t make it back over to figure out what was wrong with it before it completely stopped recording. Needless to say, she was not happy at the time but we can look back on it now and laugh, which is why I did this strip. I figured this event would be a great way to debut her character and refresh some fun memories at the same time. Please give my mom a warm welcome to JEFBOT.

Really funny, JEFbot. But I don’t think killing your mom’s TiVo should be considered a “fun memory.” But giving Michael $130.00 present would be.

I didn’t know I was barely living before I got DVR with my cable. It’s the best invention EVER!! Kudos Jefbot!
I LOVE my TIVO too!!!!! If I ever get a Fatal Error I won’t know what to do with myself. I don’t even want to think about it!!!
Very funny. The tivo/DVR error that fails to record shows is the bane of my existence.

Yuh, I had to come back and comment on this one…
I have never had Tivo, and may never will. (Hah!)
But if I did, and it suddenly went down, I think this’d be my reaction.
I also think this is a beautiful rendition of how this moment would go. (even though I don’t have a son)
BUT… To Mombot…. Bejeweled ftw!! You should play my Mum sometime. xD She loves that game.
